About Paul

Paul was born premature in 1986 and his Mum thought him to be “deaf and blind”. He was only diagnosed with autism as an adult at the age of 24 and received little support prior to this. Paul will be talking about his life, development, education, employment and friendships he has built on the way and how his various conditions affected his childhood. Paul will be describing the events that led to him being diagnosed with autism and personality disorders and the difference this made to his life. He will also be explaining methods he has developed to mitigate anxiety and sensorial issues.

Paul has released and published 5 books on the subject of autism published by Chipmunka publishing and has contributed to other books too. Having overcome many challenges to achieve the success that he now enjoys, Paul’s message is that Autism is a complex mix of ability and disability. He firmly believes that every Autistic person should have the opportunity to reach their potential and be regarded as a valued member of society.
