The workshop isn’t about giving legal advic e or solving individual issues\, but about general strategies that parents can use to get the services that they need for their child and family. By the end of the workshop\, you will be able to:\n\n Identify commonly occu rring problems facing families accessing\n services and recognise differen t types of dispute\n Come up with problem-solving approaches to these prob lems\n Use a number of template letters when corresponding with public bod ies\n\nThe workshop includes working on a case study.\n\nRegistration\nPle ase fill out the form at the link below and we'll email you the login info rmation prior to the event (at least 24hrs in advance):\n Register Now\nT uesday 5th July 2022\, 10am-12:30pm\nYou will need to use the Zoom app or website in order to access this talk\, thus agreeing with their privacy po licy which can be found on their website.\n \;\nHow to access the talk \n\nYou do not need a Zoom login to join a meeting.\n\n1) Download the Zoo m app to your device/pc. It is available for Windows\, Mac\, iOS and Andro id. If you are unable to install the app\, you can access Zoom meetings vi a their website\, however certain features may not be available.\n2) Click /tap on the join link that we have emailed you. The Zoom app should open a nd prompt you to join the meeting if it has started. If this doesn't work\ , you can manually enter the meeting ID and password into the app/website. \n3) If you haven't used zoom before\, you may be prompted to allow access to your microphone and camera - choose yes.
